We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Somehow this the effect I can't figure out how to achieve: b/w photo with some partial colouring.
You need two things: A filter (happily my camera has one) and photoshop/paintshop, with some special brushes you can decrease the colours/set it b/w
It's a little bit of work, but when people like you like it, I'm happy
